Summer is almost here and in California the warm weather is already here so I am always looking for simple and delicious summer treats! Smoothies have always been a summer favorite and it’s a great way to sneak some fruits and veggies into your kid’s drink.
Since I have twins, my 2 year old and I watch my niece and nephew during the week my days are so busy and fast is always a top priority. This banana smoothie is super fast, just whip the blender out, toss in a few ingredients and you got yourself a delicious summer treat.
- 1 banana
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of ice
- Pour all of ingredients into a blender and mix until you have the texture you want.
Another cool thing about this recipe is you can replace the banana with any other fruit or veggies and multiple fruits to create tons of great smoothies! Some options include: Strawberry, Kiwi, Peaches, Oranges, Kale, Carrot, Pineapple, Raspberry, etc.
