Hi friends! How are you doing? My name is Amy from The Charming, a general lifestyle blog focusing on art, inspiration, wellness, and everything in between. For those of you who may not know me, I'll share a few quick facts about myself and my blog:
- I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, but I do not have an accent (well, not a southern one, anyways), but I make sure to get out of the south (or at least the city that I live in) as often as I can to explore other cultures, experiences, and landscapes.
- I married my husband in June 2012 and we are planning on doing a Portland-Seattle-Vancouver trip in honor of our one year anniversary.
- I am finishing up nursing school and I am so excited to start working in this exciting career.
- I started my blog to document my life, but it's developed in to something that I do to share inspiration with the world (or those who tune in). I share inspiration in the form of quotes, photography, Internet finds, fellow bloggers, health and wellness discussions, fashion trends, home decoration, DIY crafts/tutorials, organization tips, recipes, etc.
- I just launched First Friday Financial in January and the contributors will share topics under the umbrella of money and finances (including but not limited to creating a budget, tips for sticking to a budget, investments, personal finance, savings plans, etc).
Today, I'm sharing with you some fashion items that I think would go nicely for the winter to spring transition that will be upon us in the next few months. I know it will be getting colder first and then start warming up around March or April (depending on where you live) and I am already looking forward to Spring Break just because I won't have school for a week!
