Jewelry Swap

Do you have an over abundance of jewelry? I'm not talking the expensive/real stuff I'm talking the cheap yet still way cute stuff like the kind you buy at Forever 21. 

I know I personally have a crazy amount of jewelry just laying around everywhere. There are quite a few pieces that I don't wear anymore just because I'm "over it". So this got me thinking even though I am "over it" there has got to be some ladies out there who would adore this little necklace or ring or bracelet or any piece. And so I thought wouldn't be cool to do a jewelry swap with the pieces already in our closet? HECK YA!

So I'm calling it the Jewelry Swap. Each person who enters before the deadline of July 9th will be paired up with one other person. You will then pick one piece of jewelry from your closet that you would like to send to that person. Just make sure it is still in good quality, has a value of under $10 and it is something that you personally would like to receive. Then you need to have your jewelry shipped out by July 16th and post on your blog what you got, with pictures of course, on July 30th! 

Sounds like fun, right?

The Jewelry Swap is opened to everyone in the US and out of country. US will be paired with US and out of country will be paired with each other as well.

Blog Angel Reveal

It's the reveal day! So most of you know I signed up for this Blog Angel thing with Craftbotic and it's really been a lot of fun!

She is super sweet and so honest about who she is... I really liked that! She posts a lot about her pets, which are super cute. So this month I was able to learn a lot about her through her posts and comment on most of them. I also gave her a free ad space in July so that I can get her more traffic and continue being friends with her!!

Talent Vlog

So today I am skipping my normal Friday Letters and linking up to Covered in Grace's Talent Vlog Link Up.

What's funny is for weeks my sister has been wanting to sing a song and youtube it just for fun so when I got Brooke's email, I was like PERFECT. 

Ok, I'm not going to lie, I thought twice about posting this, but HEY WHAT THE HECK, RIGHT?! You only live once so relax and HAVE FUN! 

The video took us about 17 times to actually get through the song and that was after we spent forever trying to pick a song... HAHA.

Photo Shoot and Shop News

Over the weekend I got to take some picture of my sister, brother in-law and niece! Out of about 600 that I took I posted about 40 on Facebook and now to get it down to maybe 5 or 6 on this post, is definitely hard... lol

I used my Canon T3i with a 50-250mm lens.

I have some great news for my shop! The other day I got a random email from a lady at www.groopdealz.com asking if I would like to feature my shop!! And of course I said YES!! But I am super nervous because they want a huge qty, well at least it's huge for just me to do in 21 days!! I am going to be sewing like crazy!

Sometimes I struggle with getting out what exactly is on my heart. I feel like God has given me so much to say but when I think ok let's sit down and write a post that will reach into people life's, I always end up looking at a blank screen and thinking what should my topic be.

There are so many things and lessons in life that I treasure dearly. One of them is being who God has created me to be; as a wife and me personally as a woman. I feel like its so hard to balance everything that God has given me, but I don't want to let him down because I feel so blessed to be given so much.

Today during worship at our church my sister told everyone on the stage how she has been struggling with self worth. I just have to laugh a little not because I don't know where she is coming from but because when I look at her I see such an amazing woman of God. I mean if you just talk with her, you can just feel God all over her. Even though she is my little sister I have always admired her natural confidence- she is an amazing mom, sister and wife. So I laughed only because I'm like how in the world does she even question her self worth. 

It made me think about "self worth" a little more. I know it is one of the biggest issues women all over the world are facing. I think being a girl, woman, wife, mom is the hardest job to manage, I think just the fact that you take on the every day of trying to balance all that those titles alone give you, you have the right to have the self confidence that you as a woman deserve.

It just makes me sad that a lot of women are not being treated like the princess God made them to be. Every girl should get the chance to feel "special" feel like they matter, feel pretty, feel confident in who they are. 

God created us women to be strong, courageous, good natured, beautiful, confident, wise, I could go on and on.

Know today that God has given you your self worth, not the media, not what you see in magazines or tv... GOD has...  And then walk your walk with understanding that God has created you to be YOU and nobody else.
