Sometimes You Just Need A Little Country...

This weekend we went and visited my Grammy who lives out in the country. My Papa was out hunting and she was going to be by herself for a week and my husband LOVES going up there so he thought it would be nice to visit since he didn't have to work that Saturday (for once). We both really love going up there, she lives in a huge canyon where there are bears, mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes, and this last time she said she thought there might be some wild pigs. They also have cows, chickens, goats, donkeys, an english mastiff, 8 cats (she LOVES her cats) and a little quail she rescued. I think the reason we love going up there is because one, we love spending time with her and two, its nice to get away from the city and just relax outside in the country. There is just something so refreshing about it.

While my husband helped her feed the cows and clean the chicken coop, I did what I always do... Take pictures :)

Great pictures. And I happen to have a four-wheeler just like that. Course I live in the country and you can't get around without them (inless you have a horse).

Thanks for sharing,
Cody

WOW! Those photos are so beautiful! I absolutely love the hummingbird photo!! And I totally understand about loving the country - my family down south lives on the "family farm" - so that's where I grew up - it's amazing. And SO relaxing!
