Slowing Down...

Sometimes life gets crazy... Even after a week long vacation, haha. I feel a little bit like life is just racing past me and that I am always on "full speed ahead" mode. I need to slow down. And what's weird about that is I don't mean stop doing something or take something off of my to do list... I mean SLOW DOWN, like breathe between each step of my life. Instead of just doing something, stop and think about what I'm doing, for instance this blog. Instead of trying to shoot out posts every day which becomes a big task, I need to write when I feel like writing. Or for instance my husband, instead of just nagging him about everything, I need to slow down and show him how much I really do appreciate him. Or with my church, instead of just singing songs on Sunday Morning, I need to slow down and really understand what I am doing and who I am singing praise to.

I just need to SLOW DOWN. Stop being on overdrive all the time... I am sure most of you bloggers can relate to that :) And even though it seems funny that I am posting this right after a vacation, it really is how I feel and I am definitely going to take "slowing down" to heart.

In the meantime here are some more pictures of my Disney Cruise Vacation that I promised you all:

Pirates of the Caribbean Night onboard the Disney Wonder was AMAZING! It started out with dinner and a show. After dinner we all went outside for a deck party and fireworks followed by a amazing dessert bar!!

Of course my husband got up and danced with the servers LOL

You are so right! I try and make Wednesdays a day of slowing down, refocusing, and smothering my loved ones with care. It never fails to help my week! It's obvious that God is working in your heart to meet the needs of your husband and you! Loved the pictures too, my hubby would NEVER get up and dance, so I'm just a tad jealous ;) Happy Wednesday to you :)

can I just say what an amazing writer you are. I don't know how I'm only just now following you, but I'm already obsessed. Fabulous post, love. If you get a sec, I'd love if you'd check out my latest interview about what it's like working with Lauren Conrad and some exciting TV projects. Thanks, love. xo
