Nail Polish Key Organization

I have wanted to try this FOREVER... I saw it on Pinterest some time ago and pinned it, then recently I saw someone on facebook do it and then I kept thinking I needed to do it but kept forgetting about it. I seriously have a bad memory, it gets in the way sometimes for sure. So one night out of know where when I was watching tv with my husband I jumped out of the chair and yelled "I REMEMBER WHAT I WAS GOING TO DO!" haha ya, it was a special moment for sure. And so I began the process of painting my keys with nail polish for some color organization.

Super Easy Steps:

1. Lay out all your keys that need to be painted. Of course I used a Chipotle Napkin that was sitting on our counter. HA, We love Chipotle.

2. Paint one side with your favorite nail polish color, let dry. Coat it with a clear coat. Repeat again on other side.

Easy as that! Now if we can just remember what key is what color?! HA, my husband has already complained about him not knowing what color goes with what. I am sure in time, it will save us a lot of time! haha

I did this with glitter to my keys. My husband refuses to carry my keys.

Did just this back in December of the last year because I couldn't tell the difference between the front and back door keys of my new apartment. It's held up really well and i can even tell by feeling which key has the sparkly nail polish on it in the dark!

I love it! And I figure, even if after the color coding you don't remember what they go to, at least they are prettier than before!!

Would you post this on my Pinterest Challenge? I love that it is simple and I know people would love to be able to find the idea on there.
