While I am away this week on the disney cruise, this entire week will be filled with Disney Stories from some amazing bloggers! So make sure to come back and get your disney fix for the week! You can find my cruise itinerary and all the specifics on this post I wrote
here.
By this time I should be home unpacking and getting back to reality... bummer. Well it was fun while it lasted!! Stay tune for pictures...
And here is one last Disney Story for all you readers:
I already know that Melissa is having a fabulous time on her vacation and I am so happy I can join her for Disney week on her blog!
I live in Orange County, home of Disneyland, and whenever I get a chance I am there.
The way I feel when I walk into Disneyland is just magical. It's like all my problems and worries in real life just stop when I walk through the gates. Everything is perfect at Disneyland.
So that is why I wanted to be engaged at Disneyland.
It would be the perfect setting. In front of the castle. Everyone looking, making princesses jealous.
You know what I'm talking about.
But every time I told my boyfriend about my dream proposal?
He would shoot me down.
Tell me that it's never going to happen.
That he would never start his engagement at a theme park.
He basically would crush my dreams that it would ever happen at Disneyland.
I gave up on dreaming.
But, in July my boyfriend told me we won tickets to Disneyland from his work. Not just day tickets, but annual passes. That means you basically go to Disneyland whenever you want. I practically cried. We didn't have the budget to go to Disneyland this year, let alone get annual passes.
He said he would take me on a Thursday so he would take a 1/2 day from work and it would have been my day off. It was perfect.
So that day, nothing was breaking my stride. I was super excited, dancing all the way to the car, in the car ride, and all the way up into the park.
I was on cloud nine.
Then Ernie said that since we won tickets to the park we needed to get pictures at places so his firm could put it on the website. I happily agreed.
And then the unexpected happened.
Ernie got me in front of the castle and proposed to me.
I was screaming and shouting and basically couldn't believe that it was
a. finally happening
b. happening at disneyland
I was flipping out and said "yes" about a million times.
He told me
It was always Disneyland. I wanted you to have your perfect proposal.
AHHHHH he is the perfect fiance.
We even got it videotaped. too.
So that is the start of happily ever after, at Disneyland.
