My Crazy Date Night- "Are We On Candid Camera?"

Because of this amazing blogging series thats been going on for the past week, I feel like I haven't wrote a blog post in FOREVER haha. My part in the series will be Monday and I will be sharing a little bit about how I keep organized in all this blogging stuff. 

Anyways about my date night...

My husband called me today and asked if I wanted to go on a date because he is going to be working all weekend long and we both wanted to see the new Snow White movie. So I stop by his work and pick him up around 3pm which is the worst time because he works next to a school and the traffic is insane. 

So we're sitting there stuck in bumper to bumper traffic and all of a sudden a car, two cars back, starts pulling up next to the car behind us. I told my husband, look at that kid, he's crazy. The car that he drove up next to starts moving his car around trying to block him and we are in a jeep with the windows down so we hear a whole bunch of cussing and yelling. My husband and I are sitting in the car laughing at this crazy kid, who thinks he's cool (but he's not). 

So after a few minutes he makes it past the car behind us and gets right on our tail. I ignore him and just creep up slowly through the traffic until all of a sudden the kid slams into us. I stop the car and my husband jumps out yelling at the kid to pull over. I swear if we were cussers we would have been cussing up a storm we were so mad, but luckily we're not, so no fowl language was used during the making of this accident HAHA. So anyways the kid drives off fast into oncoming traffic and swerves in and out of the cars. Luckily we got his license plate number and called the cops AND another kid who saw the whole thing pulled over and gave us his name and said he is a big problem. SCORE! Hopefully the kid gets caught. 

So we drove off to the movies a little bit frazzled and with lots of laughs about how that kid's parents should have raised him better HAHA.

Walking up to the movies we score a FREE popcorn with our regal club card HA, highlight of the night. 

We are so excited to see Snow White and the Huntsman. We sit down, relax, get all into the movie and then about an hour and a half into the movie sirens start going off and a lady comes in saying we all have to evacuate the theater. 

My husband and I looked at each other "ARE WE ON CANDID CAMERA?!" You have got to be kidding me!! So we all pile outside and a lady starts yelling "you can go back in". Turns out one of the employees burned popcorn, apparently bad enough to smoke out the theater and set the smoke alarms off! hahaha SO CRAZY!! After about 30 minutes of waiting around they started the movie back where it was and we got free movie tickets.

That was seriously the most exciting date night I have had in a long time... As we're walking back to the car, I stepped on a thorn and my husband pulls me aside takes the thorn out of my foot and we just start busting up laughing. Then he says "It's been a little crazy, but I'm glad I got to spend some time with you". And that is why I love him so much, even after all that we had fun just being with each other.
