It's the ad space! I enjoy reading blogs, I enjoy buying from folks with handmade items - I'm not talented enough to do either of those things - BUT, I can participate in those worlds by passing on any ad space that I win to crafters and bloggers whose work I enjoy, and by blessing them. AND I get such a kick out of seeing their ad in the space and knowing that I helped do that, and that maybe it will generate more sales for someone so they can support their family more. I love prizes for me too (like that $10 Amazon gift card)! My hubby's birthday is coming up - he has a workshop and always needs something for that, so Amazon is the place to go for tools!
