It's getting colder and colder!! YAY! I'm so excited about this!! I picked up my first new scarf of the season, and its something I wouldn't normally have picked out but my husband really liked it so I bought it and loved it even more when I tried it on at home. Tonight was the first night of CRAZY rain, so tomorrow I start wearing my jackets. This is by far my favorite kind of weather... I just hope my chickens are going to be ok in all this rain... Wesley put out a tarp over their coop so they should be all set.
Made a pretty good pumpkin pie, its Wesley's favorite and he's been beggin' me to make one. I must admit I'm very proud of myself for doing all this at home cooking and baking. Last night I threw together a last minute casserole with brown rice, corn, black beans, onions, potatoes, cheese, sour cream and salsa and IT WAS AMAZING!!! Wesley went back for seconds and then had it for lunch today haha SCORE! It was really healthy too which is a huge plus!
Can't wait for christmas to get here! So many ideas for home made decorations on Pinterest! This is our first year we will be buying a real tree and were so excited! I've been looking around to see what type of decorations I want for the tree as well as my house. We have a light blue living room so the red/green thing doesn't work so well, I'm thinking maybe a lighter green color- maybe vintage looking, not quite sure yet but its sure fun looking around.
